My Journey

When I turned 30, I thought I had my life figured out. I was married, with two young daughter's, had given up my teaching career to be a stay-at-home mom and was living the life I thought I wanted- proverbial white picket fence and all The problem...I was unhappy, more like miserable. I thought these were the things I wanted, so why did it all feel so wrong?

I soon discovered that I was not living my truth or anywhere near my engaging with my passions. Depression set in and it was and challenging to find joy in anything. I used to put videos on for my girls, so I could go cry in the bedroom. I knew for the sake of my daughters and myself, that I needed to figure my life out.

A series of serendipitous events  opened the door to the energy healing world, where I soon discovered new passion and connection. It led me down a new path of inquiry and exploration, where I began training with other healers and learning different modalities, such as Reiki, hands-on healing and crystal medicine. I ended up a graduate of the Boulder-based Psychic Horizons Center clairvoyant and meditation teacher training programs, left my marriage (after a great deal of therapy) and started my own business as a professional organizer.

As I dove into to all of these avenues for the purpose of my own healing, it became clear that this was the work I wanted to do. I expanded my studies becoming a Certified Feng Shui Professional and Stager and more recently, earned Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in both Transpersonal Psychology and Art Therapy from Naropa University.
